“Champion!” prints available for purchase

As a fund-raising project for the 2006 NJAS in Indianapolis, the organizing committee commissioned Frank Champion Murphy to paint an image that depicts the multifaceted nuances of the National Junior Angus Show. Mr. Murphy took the idea and developed a show scene depicting the champion drive at the NJAS and thus the painting has been rightfully named “Champion!”. The original painting, an oil on canvas measuring 24x40-inches, sold at auction for $15,000 to Limestone LLC, Still water, Oklahoma, and Express Ranches, Yukon, Oklahoma, in November 2005. A limited edition of 1,000 prints signed and numbered by the artist, are being offered for sale. These prints measure 18.5 x 28 inches. The first option on the number prints were sold at auction as well with prime numbers being purchased by the following:
