Volunteers are critical to the success of the National Junior Angus Show. These volunteers work for nearly 3 years in planning and executing the world’s largest single breed beef show. The volunteers come from many areas and include Angus breeders; parents, grandparents and siblings of junior members; former junior Angus members; university extension professionals; vocational agriculture teachers; and, in general, people who are interested in seeing young people succeed in competition and in life.
The planning for the NJAS is done by these volunteers who are divided into committees so they can focus on a particular area of the show preparation. The committee chairmen are listed below. If you would like to serve on a committee; volunteer to help during the show or provide financial assistance with funding this event, please contact the chairman of the area of your interest. A large number of volunteers will be needed prior to and during NJAS as we execute the show. If you can help set up the show or during the show, please contact the committee chair that you would be most interested in assisting. Thank you for your interest. We look forward to your involvement.
